Although some have viewed his behavior as bizarre…Pantangco had a perfect explanation for losing in such extraordinary fashion. According to his statements, Pantangco began to feel sympathy for his opponent because he wasn’t sufficiently trained to fight him and did not want to hurt him, especially for a fight they wouldn’t get paid for.
