If you’re anything like me – you have go to be exhausted! I love this time of year, but too much to do for the Holidays.  The one thing I don’t have to worry about anymore is what boots to wear after abusing my feet with all the shopping I’ve been doing.

Ladies, check out this KIMI boot from Lugz – and Guys, how good would your Lady look wearing these with her leggings.  The studs just dress everything up.  And the fur lining is awesome.

If studs aren’t your thing, what about the MAHALA ..

I love the “sweater” look – plus it also has the fur lining!

So now that you’re done shopping for everyone else Ladies, time to take care of yourself!  Go to www.lugz.com and check out the entire Ladies Line.

So I know last week I was raving that the Laurel slip on was going to be my absolute favorite for the fall. Well I may have changed my mind. Of course I’m a woman, and that’s my prerogative (isn’t it?). Don’t get me wrong – I still love the Laurel’s for running around town and going to yoga, but now Lugz introduced two great ankle booties that I absolutely LOVE. The Kaya and the Dahlia.

These suede moccasin type booties both have that great fringe detail. Kaya has some leather laces while the Dalhia just zips up the back. You have to go check them out and see all the cool details on them.

Fall is the time of year that I live in jeans, jeggings or my leggings. I know we all want to be comfortable, but you can be fashionable too with these on.

I’m going shopping! See you at Lugz!

ATTENTION: All Ladies!

<LUGZ is loving the Ladies!

Lugz Lady: Beyonce

With energy so dynamic, a voice so powerful…talent so rare…Beyonce is this week’s Lugz Lady because of her incredible drive and passion for what she does. Not only has Beyonce mastered the art of performing, she has earned herself the comparison to some of the greatest entertainers in history like Tina Turner, Prince and Michael Jackson. Throughout a career spanning 15 years, she has won 17 Grammy Awards, and has sold over 13 million albums in the US and 118 million records worldwide (as well as a further 60 million records with Destiny’s Child) making her one of the bestselling musical artist of all time…and all this at the ripe age of 32! She didn’t stop there as she continued to venture outside of her musical role to pursue acting and entrepreneurship with her clothing line House of Dereon. Although not widely mentioned, it is her Philanthropy that truly stands out in our book. After Hurricane Katrina, Beyonce along with former Destiny Child member Kelly Rowland founded the “Survivor Foundation” to provide transitional housing for victims in the Houston area. She has continued to participate in ongoing relief efforts including the “Miss a Meal” food donation campaign as well as the Goodwill Charity that supports job creation throughout Europe and the U.S. In 2012, Beyonce became the ambassador for the 2012 World Humanitarian Day campaign and donated her song “I was Here” to bring attention to the campaign and made social media history in getting the message across worldwide. It is no wonder that Beyonce has earned her right to stand where she does  as the “most important and compelling popular musician of the twenty first century.

Lugz Lady: Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock is this week’s Leading Lugz Lady. Why? Well outside of the fact that she’s the type of girl you’d want to bring home to mom…she’s also an amazing actress and entrepreneur. It was inevitable that she was going to be a star based on her breakout roles in films such as Demolition man(1993), Speed(1994), The Net(1995) and countless others that kept her in the limelight and the box office for over 20 years. Although at times her choice of roles were less than stellar…her deliriously funny and down to earth persona coupled with the fact that she’s just plain “Gorgeous” may have contributed to her landing People magazine’s 2010 “Woman of the Year”, the #12 spot on People’s Most Beautiful 2011 list and even earning  her the 2012 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records title as the highest-paid actress at 56k per film. Today, Sandra Bullock’s latest film “The Heat” has landed at the top of the box office beating out World War Z during its opening, which cements her star quality in Hollywood and let’s them know that “we the people” LOVE US SOME SANDRA! Oh and let’s not forget that Fortis Films, her production outfit, produced many of her films, including both Miss Congeniality films and Two Weeks Notice. It also produces ABC’s hit syndication ”The George Lopez Show” .You go girl!

Lugz Lady: Serena Williams

We are starting a theme here at Lugz where we pay some well deserved respect to some of the amazing women out there who inspire us in some way.  It can be their looks, their skills or just their contribution to society, but there is just somehting about them that we just love.

We begin with arguably the greatest tennis player of all time, Serena Williams. Just this month she claimed her 16th Grand Slam title as she won her second French Open. What is more impressive is that she suffered a shocking first round defeat in this tournament just one year ago, leaving some experts questioning if she is perhaps past her prime.

She has a record of 74-3 since, with Wimbledon, US Open and French Open singles titles to her name. Add to that a Wimbledon doubles title, Olympic gold in singles and doubles, a year-end championship, a return to the world No. 1 ranking and a current 31-match winning streak, and there is no question who the overwhelming favorite is to win Wimbledon, the tournament Williams has already won five times.

She has been ranked Number 1 in singles by the Women’s Tennis Association six times and currently holds this top position. For her continued dominance in the sport and success in her entrepreneurial ventures, Serena Williams most certainly deserves some respect!
